design philosophy

This site embraces brutalist web design - minimal styling, semantic HTML, and maximum accessibility.

technical stack

• Generator: Hugo static site generator
• Templates: Go templates
• CSS: Minimal inline styles
• JavaScript: Almost none. The only script is Mermaid, loaded from a CDN, and it only renders the diagrams in some posts and zines
• Font: System font stack
• Hosting: Vercel

performance

• Plain HTML with a few inline styles, so pages are tiny
• No tracking or analytics
• Works without JavaScript (only the diagrams need it)
